Beat $C!

With the annual Crosstown Showdown, or whatever the heck the official name of the game is, it is time to start preparing for this monumental showdown. Sure both teams are not ranked in the top 10, let alone top 20, but this game has plenty of implications on the landscape of college football for the future. For the Trojans, a win will still solidify them as the rulers of LA (though I'm sure if they lost they would still be getting paid), and thus will not see much decrease in their recruiting efforts. For the Bruins, a win will give them a claim to the town for the first time since 2006, and for only the second time this decade. It will also exponentially (for any Trojans reading this, exponentially is a mathematical term commonly used since high school) increase the talent level that will choose to commit to CRN and his UCLA team. Furthermore, it will set up a scenario in which U$C could end up with the same amount of wins (omg!) as UCLA for the season pending their final game against Arizona. I mean, even if the Wildcats were to lose to the Trojans on December 5th, it would mean that the Bruins would be only a game behind U$C, and who would have thought that'd happen so soon? Throughout this Thanksgiving week we shall bring more sights and sound to help build up to the big game at the Coliseum on Saturday Night.

Here are some photos from the Beat $C Rally which was held at UCLA last night:
